Adware/Spyware Removal Remove files on your computer that secretly collect information.

I recommend using both programs, as they both tend to catch items the other overlooks.
Antivirus A very nice antivirus package that keeps your computer protected with daily updates.

The free version requires the user to click on a "Heal" button every time a virus is detected.
Firewall Prevent others from tapping into your computer.  A firewall is a must have for anyone with a fast and/or constant connection.

For the free version, first click on "Download and Buy" then click on "Zone Alarm" (second from left tab).
Pop-up Blocker / Browser Stop those pop-ups from taking over your online time.

I usually just use the built in features of Firefox.
